John Wick: Chapter 2 opens in theaters on February 10, 2017. The film also stars John Leguizamo, Lance Reddick, Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Common, Peter Stormare, and Riccardo Scamarcio. Expectations are definitely high for Chapter 2, but this trailer makes it look like Stahelski has risen to the challenge. Stahelski looks like he's seriously upped his already impressive game for the sequel, and the new movie looks even sleeker and more stylish than the original. This is a terrific trailer that not only employs some classical music to great effect, but more importantly, it provides the John Wick we want to see: a guy who guns down bad guys left and right. Chad Stahelski-one half of the directing team behind John Wick-takes the helm solo this time around as the franchise takes the action to Rome. The film finds Keanu Reeves reprising his titular role as legendary hitman John Wick, who is forced once again out of retirement when a former associate plots to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild.
